Private Training
During these one-on-one sessions; you will receive hands on training and we will work on teaching clear communication to you & your dog. We start with the fundamentals to create a strong foundation for communication and trust that's usually built through play. Without trust we won't get far in training! A dog inviting us to join in on their fetch or tug game is a great indicator on comfortability level that we strive to uphold!
Then we will take a unique path for each dog we work with to the desired outcome. We like to space out our sessions a week or two apart so that the owners really have time to work on what was covered and to set us up for better progression with each consecutive session.
Tools, toys, and treats will be accommodated for within the sessions and with knowledge and practice you will be given full access to use them at the end. Most importantly, this approach gives time for you and your dog's relationship to really blossom!!
Private, in-person, sessions come with one 30 minute FaceTime or Zoom call that allows us to gather more information regarding your interest in training.
Some of you may need virtual training sessions. You and your dog will receive the same great one-on-one specialized training.

Board and Train Programs
Our Board & Train programs are a very popular option because they allow us more time to get to know the dogs in our environment and quickly progress the dogs in their training, prior to coaching and educating owners on how to maintain the progress. This program gives us the proper amount of time to teach fundamentals and better behaviors and practice them consistently,so they start to become habits. Regardless of what behaviors you would like us to work on with your dog, we always start with the Fundamental Obedience Program (or refresh those that already have strong fundamentals in place). This allows us to quickly bridge the communication gap between dogs and humans. In addition to the fundamentals and working on any behavioral challenges, this program includes off leash reliability, and the habit of great responsiveness.
We teach our fundamental obedience through games of play because play activates the brain differently especially in regard to food that allows us to go into a fantasy world of fun for training. Getting your dog to do things for you because they want to versus for you are completely different concepts and create two different types of relationships with your dog. Play is the highest form of social interaction and using it during training creates a strong relationship between you and your dog.
Once we have a solid foundation and clear communication, we are in a position to start advancing and working on the behaviors we want to teach dogs to overcome, and to start making better decisions in the areas they may have previously struggled in.
